Default Offered settlement (not including intrst & court costs after action started-need help

I have been offered a settlement figure which is the full amount of the original claim. It was offered 5 days after starting court action. Can I accept it as partial settlement and continue to court for the interesticon & court fees incurred? If I do this do I need to inform the court, and does anyone know how they react to continuing the case when only the outstanding interest and court fees are left? Please help - someone.

Once you have started your court action then you are entitled to proceed until you have recovered all of your claim including fixed costs - unless you lose in court. consumer forums

You don't need to inform the court.

    Wait and see what happens.

If they default then enter judgment for the amount outstanding
