Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi guys, just new to this group, got info from a work pal.
My situation is bank charges with A+L, from about 6 months. They have added up under £100. But still its not fair.
Read some articles in the Guardian about taking them to small claims court.
So i wrote them a letter a few weeks ago asking from my money returned and stated that it was not right and i would be looking into court action if they were not returned.
They send back a letter similar to others letters saying no.
This is before i saw your forum, my questin is ,,,,what should be my next step?
Many thanks
Damon
Read the FAQs. It tells you step-by-step what you need to do.

"Some people say The Stig chews on spark plugs and drifts while walking. Some say he is terrified of ducks, and that there is an airport in Russia named after him. All we know is that he is really barracad from The Consumer Action Group" - Jeremy Clarkson (allegedly)
Your next step is to take a good read of the faq's and make sure you know what you are getting yourself into...
Then if you think that your letter was close enough to the prelim letter in the library and you are sure that you have caught all of your charges for the last 6 years, fire off a lba... etc etc etc
Then... Once they have paid up make sure you don't forget all the wonderful advice and support you have got from this site and make a small donation in consideration of that... Without this site it will be a lot harder to get your money back (5% of your claim is commonly felt to be a worthy donation)
