ive recived a letter from a&l offering me 591 Full and final settlement for 2558 what do i do my lba expired last week and i dont get paid till next week to start court proceeddings
Don't worry about it emma, the 14 days isn't written in stone, if you can't start court proceedings until next week there's no problem - after all, you are the one in charge of the timetable.
You could always write them a letter in the meantime, telling them you don't want to accept their offer and give them a gentle reminder that you still intend to start court proceedings unless they offer you the full amount.
Was the offer in the form of a cheque? If so, tear it in two and send it back to them.
they offered me £682 for £2,100 and I tore the cheque up and sent it back with a letter rejecting their offer. I am now awaiting a court date and gues what I have received another letter offering me £682 - gues what my response is going to be - see them in court!!
