Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
In second stage of reclaiming charges from A&L,
sent full list of charges totalling £8937.00 and i offered early settlement of £6700.00 if they responded within 14 days.
Reply from them was "currently looking into the issue i have raised and will let you have our response asap"
I did not include interest in the initial claim and the 14 days is now up.
Should I wait for a response, contact the bank or carry on with claim???
Am a little worried about filing claim for such a large amount.
As you have been reasonable and offerred to settle for a lesser amount and have also given them 14 days in which to reply I would continue with the claim.
A&L will take as long as they can get away with not replying to these claims so stick to your timetable.
