hi guys, sent out a letter requesting a list of bank statments on the 21. 03. 07 Barclays responed on the 3. 04. 07 saying we refer to you recent letter a schedule of charges is in course of preparation and will be sent to you shortly,....
the woolwich responded on the 10. 04. 07 saying we have taken responsibility for fully investigating the issues you have raised, and we aim to provide you with an answer by the 9th of may.
have not recevied my statments yet,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,shoul d i send them a lba ??
Presuming you sent the SAR on the 21st March, Barclays have now had 55 days to send the schedule of charges. Regardless of what else they've deemed fit to fob you off with, if you are not in receipt of a Breakdown/listing of charges by now, you need to send them a LBA stating that you will DPA Breach court action them if they don't comply within 7 days - the template letter is on the site.
I would also email them to advise that you have today sent a letter before action - often you'll get an email response within 24 hours. Be warned that the email will probably apologise, claim there was a delay in your letter being passed on and assure you that they're sending something out to you ''1st class today''...take it with a pinch of salt.
I've recently had MCOL issue them with a DPA breach case as they foed me off with all the standard blurb letters that you are getting. I have plenty of letters from them but they're all automated and none contain the only thing I've asked for ... a list of charges
just finished wring the initial lette to Barclays, will sent it tommorow, recorded mail. does anyone have details on barclays reputation in dealing with bank charges claims
