Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hiya
I've got my statements from the internet and drawn up the spreadsheet of charges so am ready to send the Preliminary approach letter. Am I right in thinking I send this one to my Branch or do I need to copy it elsewhere as well?
Well - haven't been on here for ages - sent off the preliminary letter and got standard reply of 'looking into it' then got sidetracked by more urgent issues and finally got round to sending the letter before action a week ago - yesterday I got a without prejudice letter agreeing to pay the charges!!!! So all good - thanks for the templates and the moral support - I read loads of threads on litigation etc expecting it to go further but am glad it didn't.
