Default Egg offering measly partial settlement

    Hi all

Eggicon charged me £340 (17x£20). I wrote to them asking to pay me it back within 14 days. They wrote back saying they would pay me £68.

The £68 is 17x£4 - they decided on £4 because this is how much they reduced their charges by recently.

Do I have to accept this?

This is a standard tactic from the eggheads. The link below will explain all. You accept it as a partial settlement.
