Hi just thought i would let you know that i have an ongoing claim with Barclays that started over 3 months ago and at the same time i printed off letters on here for a friend who hasnt got access to a computer she worked out she was owed £1500 by Lloyds so sent of her SAR letter and prelim letter and has had an offer of £1250 . so she has decided to take it. i thought that was a great first offer and she is really pleased. in all it tokk her just 8 weeks from sending SAR and getting her offer.

not really but she couldnt afford the court fees and would be getting more into debt to pay them so she thought it was the best if she accepted it.

hi everyone hope someone can help me. i am starting a claim against Lloyds for a friend ( yes i have another one ) against lloyds. she sent off for her statements and received details of charges going back to 2001. quite alot of them are for" ACCOUNT CHARGE " starting from £4 in 2001 and going up to £15 in 2007. it doesnt say what these are for. other items state o/d excess. unpaid s/o etc.. just wondering if these account charge are for having an overdraft . has anyone got these on their statements. cant get in touch with my friend as she is away and i thought i would get her schedule and prelim letter ready for her. anyon got any ideas?

As far as i know you cannot claim for 'Account Charges'. These are monthly fees you agree to as running costs when you open certain types of accounts.
I had these account charges on my statements for a 'select' account, and i know i wasn't allowed to claim these back.
Good luck
