a friend of mine had 2 guys knock on his door late night, they gave him a letter then went, this letter is from the court and says he has to pay £8000 within 8 days, i've no idea what this £8000 is about, i've never received anything saying i owe this cash, and i've never had credit off black horse, i'm going to ring the court, ring black horse and cca them and SAR, anyone had expeirience of this sort of thing or any ideas as to what i should do??????????

i think i've managed to sort it, B/H said that the loan was for someone with a similar name, and same D.O.B, so they just served it on him anyway, nasty letter sent to court, copy to B/H.
really nasty letter to B/H, with proof that he's not the person concerned, also asking what level of comp they're going to offer,
his missus has kicked him out as she didn't believe he hadn't taken this loan out, and he's out until this is cleared up, loss of earnings for yesterday, as he had to sort this out and didn't sleep through worry, cost of phone calls, letters, and the fact that they didn't bother to check he was the right person before threatening him with prison,
who should this be reported to?? info com? T.S?
