I have an AA Credit card which is the Bank of Scotlands card or they are the ones who lend me the money and send me the bills and letters. I have sent the Prelim letter and the lba letter with no success so i am now off to MoneyClaim. Problem is the people i have been sending the letters to are from Card Services in Pitreavie Business Park Dunfermline Fife KY99 4BS. Now moneyclaim wont do it as it is not in England or Wales. Anyone got any advice on what to do here?

Also sorry can anyone also tell me with the default payments or late payments can you get these removed? I know you can ask for the default payments but what about the Late Payments where they rack them up on your credit file?

The thing is i dont have a Bank of Scotland bank account. It is a Credit card that i got from the AA but Bank of Scotland are the ones that you have the credit with. So still issue it to the nearest Bank of Scotland even though it is a credit card?

Ok thanks very much Alan. What about the Late Payments on my credit file they havent actually issued defaults on my credit file just the late payement where the number goes up 1 evertime your late which gives you a poor rating. Can anything be done about this or is it just defaulted payments you can get removed ? BTW i am reading through that section you just told me about now cheers

I would suggest reading up on the DPA section 10. The information they are supplying to the CRA's is incorrect and would class as defamation. Initially demand that they correct it - otherwise take action.
