Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Me and my cousin both started with the standard lettere to our banks, hers was Natwest, mine Lloyds and HSBC.
Mine has got to court but my cousin sent the first letter and instead of waiting the 14 days for them to reply she allowed them the 21 days to reply to her once they acknowledged they were looking into it.
she then wrote to the after the 21 days to say that they had not answered and they wrote to her with a full settlement. not bad £880 total. all in all i think it took a month and half but not bad.
Just thought i'd let you all know just in case its worth waiting instead of rushing into it like i did with llloyds.
