Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

Robo, best to put SCOTLAND as your location in your profile so you are easily identified. Not singling you out at all, it's just that the advice you are offered needs to be different to those in Wales / England.
I would think you need to do some research into this, there is plenty of info around relating to the limits in Scottish Courts, there is even a Scottish Section in the the General forum that may be of help.
There has been plenty of discussion in the RBS forum lately surrounding scottish procedure and with a little bit of delving you should be able to find some information to help you.
Good luck
