I had used a credit card to pay for items but was badly let down by being a victim of fraud. As the credit card was used and I did not repay they had issued a CCJ against me.
Is this lawful and what can I do now as I have reported it but nothing?!
Was the total amount on the ccj the result of the fraudulent use of your card?
Is that amount still showing as unpaid on your account? If yes, why haven't they they cleared it yet? And which card is it? Were/ are the police involved?
If you admit that you ordered the items -from more than one company[?]-where was the fraud?
As you were aware of yhe fraud, why didn't you go to Court at the time
and challenge it? How lomg ago did it happen?
Who did you report it to?
As the ccj was issued by the Court, only a Court can undo it. You will
have to apply to the Court for theri decision to be set aside and put
your case to them to see if they will alter their decision.

Unfortunately I have told them about it but they say that seeming you used the card you must repay!
I have also contacted the creditors - so I have at present got some breathing space!

but thats how most fraud is reported to them! by the customer.
they must be able to atleast see it does not meet your pattern of trading/use.
funny i know, but yesterday i had cap1 on phone saying my card had been used to purchase an item from an american website, did i authorise this or do i want them to start a internet fraud case for me.
i had ordered it so authorised it, but it just goes to show, some do care.

I have also written to them telling about this fraud situation - but early days yet!
I had paid for items from a site or money service via the card but no item was sent over - money lost!
Also it seems they have violated and breeched the contract of CCA 1974. Section 74/75.

HI,
What about if I requested my CA on 19th july 07 enclosed a £1 admin cost and have not heard a reply - what next?
They (Cap1DCA) seem to be making threats of non payment and also a warrant issued., but I have contacted the court and requested immediately a N244.
