Default Have I ruined my Chances?

I made a mistake by sending the letter before actionicon out instead of the preliminary request for repayment. Just got too excited when I got my list of charges back and got to work straight away without thinking it through. I've received a letter back saying that they are sorry I'm unhappy and are looking into it, but my 14 days notice are coming to an end. Do I need to put a claim in straight away? Sorry if this is covered somewhere else but I looked through the FAQs before I posted this.

You've not ruined your chances, but clearly should have taken more time to read, and understand, the FAQ section.

But, spilt milk and all that......

When your deadline expires, send the lbaicon again, and reword it slightly to show that you are offering another 14 days for them to reconsider.

Use that time to catch up on the process, making sure you're up to speed

Also you need to ask is why you send the wrong letter. Are you familiar with the forum material? Have you done your reading?

This is not money for nothing. It is not a get rich quick scheme. It is a serious business which could lead you into a court case. We need to understand what you're doing and why you're doing it. If you end up having to claim then sending the wrong letters or wrong documents is going to cause you problems. Maybe you need to review your situation before you proceed
