it is persistance and not to fear large organisations like them.which will make you win I have read this and am pleased other people are pursueing them .I have decided to try and reclaim my fees for 5 years.
originally when I joined abbey there was a 50 pound limit that if your mistakes were under this amount you would not occur any charges can anyone remember.
They used to call the £50 limit a buffer zone. I had a few rows with them over it when they withdrew it. I think they restored it again for a while but it did disappear again shortly afterwards. Can't remember when it was though.
interest on my mortage using the financial ombusman.Originally I took a cashback mortage out and because of the wording Standard varible rate on there tracker mortage I manage toget 3000 pound in back dated interest through the financial ombusman.
I just went to Abbey and requested statements going back to 2001 the woman told me there would be a 5.00 pound charge per statement for this service I am not impressed. will try other route or put it on the bill . Can they do this

be prepared open new account make sure your overdraft if you got one is tempory covered , if you recouperate your money close the account.
Don t be intimidated by them they will test your comittment to this keep pushing on even if you have to get baliffs out do it.
