I stuck with it and got my money back! Abbey me £355 but, even though I was worried sick, I never backed down, I'd gotten to the stage where I sent my court bundle off and prayed I wouldn't be the 'first one' to have to go into court!
I needn't have sent the bundle after all as I received a letter from Abbey the next day (2nd class post!) saying they weren't admitting liability but would settle.
(they wouldn't have even received my court bundle at that point!).
To everyone still going through this: DONT give up, its your money and you WILL get it back. Patience and persistance are 2 wonderful things!!
