In 1999 (around Sept if I remember correctly) was anyone given a £1000 over draft by Woolwich without asking for one, or sighning up for one.
I am lead to beleive that they just GAVE it to all their current account holders.
I ask this as my freind has since been living in hers, and cant seem to recover from this - and says it was like hanging a carrot infront of a donkeys nose for allot of people at that time.
