    Default Fed up with Barclaycard

    Hi Everyone
Just when I thought everything was going along happily I received a statement from Barclaycard. I always pay my bill every month as I am so worried about their charges. I always pay it by transfer from my Bank 4 days before. Unfortunately this month for some reason the payment went in to Barclaycard late by 3 days and they stung me for £12 late payment charge and interesticon of £28.15!
Can I claim both of these back please?

You can claim the late payment charge but not the interesticon.

Try giving them a call to see if they are willing to reverse it.

They will refund the charge but I had a real problem with them even though I am a good customer. The agent said that they will charge me if it happens again and I responded by saying that it is a penalty charge and not allowed.
She tried to tell me the terms and conditionsicon and I repeated that in that case I will again request a refund as it is a penalty charge.
It is a sorry state of affairs that these banks are so dishonest and it makes me very angry. !!

    It is a bit of a circle-you miss a payment,they charge,you reclaim,they pay back.

Unfortunately they will keep charging for as long as they can get away with it.
