Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just a small point but advice would be welcome. I am just in the process of filing out the small claims form for the Sherrif court in Aberdeen (claim value £730) and unsure as to which address to use for the defender ie RBOS. I started my claim by correspondence with my local branch but all subsequent correspondence from RBOS has come from the Edinburgh customer relations unit. I assume I should address the summons to Edinburgh but not sure.
