Loads of GE capital cards, one claim? - ***WON***

I have quite a few of these blighters, all of them have made charges.
All the cards are GE capital, would I be able to combine the lot?
Or would loads of little letters do?

I don't see why you can't combine them - certainly the DPA request should bring up all the accounts, and it would seem sensible for the claims to be dealt with in the same way.

Unless the combined claims total more than £5000, then you might want to split them so you can keep the claims in the Small Claims Court.

Hello again folks, it's been a long time, some website has been taking up my time somewhat recently.....
anyhow.
5 GE Capital store cards, £603 in total.
Letter sent off for repayment of these unlawful charges sent off today!
Cooking on gas!

Hi I have three ge capital cards so will do the same.. did you just list all theree accounts numbers on the latter?

I sent details of 5 different accounts.
still waiting for some correspondence from them.

I have two store cards, topshop and river island, with loads of late payment charges on they are both run by GE should i lodge my complaints to them or to the stores?

also i have just had my bank charges refunded from HSBC icon

is this the same process?

You will have to send your letters to GE capital, the addtess is on your statements. I sent one letter with all the charges on all the accounts at once.

Im curious i have just remembered about a burtons car, i sent of a SAR icon

specifically mentioning a debenhams and House of fraser card but so far only data back re the HOF card.

I think that GE are being economical with the truth in my case?

GE will hold all the info about all the accounts, in fact we used to send a cheque payment in one "lump" (all the payments for all 5 cards clumped together in one cheque) and never had any problems.

RESULT!!!!

A very polite letter, full refund of everything debited into the corresponding accounts. The amounts differ but add up to the same figure for some reason. I am amazed at how easily they coughed up actually.

Didnt even get asked to sign anything.

One tin of whoopass duley opened!

Sounds rather local to me, me thinks!!!!

Got fields of wild dumplings running around here - although I was born in pasty land!!!!

Hmmmm...

I was born in cornwall and lived there for my first 5 years.

Nice to hear there are people in the south west on here!!!!
