Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I feel this might be a hard nut to crack.
i sent a letter to them, no response so i sent a secure message (it's an old Egg card account but have a loan with them, - to pay off the credit card )
i got a response to my message saying they hadn't receive my letter (surprise), but if i sent a cheque for £10 and told them what statements i wanted and provided proof of my new address i could have them. i also had to respond to mesage to confirm this.
so i did.
then i had another message saying they statements would be free because im an old customer (not sure of the logic in that - charge your faithful ones and let your abstainers go free!). and they didn't need proof of ID cos my acount was closed, doh, how litle sense does that make. they said it would be actioned immediately. fingers crossed.
Is this likely to be a long haul?
Thanks
