Default animal sanctuary vs alliance &leicester

I received my bank statements off a&l on thursday that was 38 days since i requested them. I spent all Thursday night working out the bank charges i got that figure to just over 1,500.00 and posted that off recorded delivery yesterday (27th apr). Guess the next step is the sod off letter. I am worried they will close my account down but i guess i will cross those bridges as i come to them. Any advice in laymans terms will be greatly appreciated.

dont worry about them closing the account - in my offer letter (rejected) they said they will not be closing my account whether I accept their offer or decide to proceed with a court claim. They know they will be fined by the financial Ombudsmanicon is they take retaliatory action!

    Hi there,

If you send the first letter and received the reply as you have stated, no you do not have to wait and can send the second letter.

    A link is here -

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...re-action.html

I would make sure this one is sent recorded or traced as in signed for as this is the last part before filing a claim in the court.

So now for the serious stuff animal....to read up on whats next!

If you send the letter off, spend the time till they reply reading up on how to claim via the court and read into which way you might claim.

You can apply for an exemption through the court when you file your claim so it is worth a read and if in hardship, worth applying.

    http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/H...fl ets_id=172

Money claim online - NO fee exemption

    5. Money Claim On-Line (MCOL) Particulars of Claim

N1 at your local court. - Fee Exemption allowed!

    4. Particulars of claim - N1 - hard copy version

So enjoy reading but lets hope knowing you are serious - they will settle.

Once the days are up on the second letter - you do not have to wait and can lodge in court with no further warning...

All the best for your claim.

Hmmm oh yeah does anyone know in laymans terms how to get the n1 from the library to your computer it won't let me copy and paste and i am not really that computer literate sorry

Unhappy aaarrrggghh please advise about starting court

I think i posted my last request in the really wrong section. I am not very good at this. sorry.

please could someone tell me whether you can post the N1 off to the county courticon with a postal order for payment and whether i attach a spreadsheet of my charges to this at this time or do i have to appear in person struggling to get time off work and i can't work out how to attach anything to the mcol one

Also really thick question how do you get the N1 from the library onto the computer or do you just type it and then print it straight off it won't let me copy and paste.

This whole mess is turning me into a wreck

either post n1 with postal order and charges attached (stating this in POCicon)

    or

File MCOL and later send charges printout to be attached to claim by post

i used MCOL - if you go to dark blue toolbar and do search on Michael browne you will see a list of threads - he has a good one - I think it is get MCOL right.

There is a template for all the coorect words to complete - then you send your copy of schedule with a separate column for the 8% . There is a ink to the spreadsheet as well.

If you use MCOL you will have to pay the fee by card i think (unless you are exempt)

Keep reading FAQ/ Step by step instructions and libary templates.

There is also a section about the advantages of using N1

    Best of luck

    Hi,
If you are like me and easily get confused then i would go the N1 court claim http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/c...ms/n1_0102.pdf you fill it out on the screen and print it off as it wont save (do 3 or 4 copies) then you can attach your POCicon and schedule of charges to the claim.
    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...-claim-n1.html
You can send it by post with postal order or cheque made payable to 'HMCS'
    Hope it helps

It's your timetable so not at all. If you are on certain benefits you may be able to apply for exemption from paying court fees. Check with the court if you think this may be possible.

If/when you get to court bundle stage and want some advice, send me a private message (tab above) and I'll send you some stuff to guide you (I've just done mine so know what it involves). Hopefully I'll be able to help you out quite a bit and it won't be so daunting.

In the meantime, please don't worry

It helps everyone if the advice can be kept on the open forum. There's a basic court bundle in the bank templates libraryicon, which just needs your own statements and letters adding, although you may have a few other bits and bobs you might like to add.http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...rt-bundle.html

The address that I used was

    Alliance and Leicester
    Customer Contact Centre
    Bootle
    Merseyside
    G1R 0AA

In the post code after the G is the number one and it is a number zero before AA.

Just keep all your questions and progress on this thread by replying as you have here. Hope that helps.
