I have recently won a claim against the Halifax, and am now in the process of claiming against Cap 1 (lba stage) Abbey (SAR) and barclaycard which is at the prelim, Im claiming just over 600 back off them, which pays off my balance that I owe them!
Are Barclaycard quite good at paying up or are they like the others??

I received a refund into my account a couple days after sending the Prelim letter... it was for about a third of what I have requested. I am after interest as well.... When I calculated what they have paid me, it is the difference between the £12 they are charging now and the £24 they were charging then... However the fight continues until I get it all back. I wonder if, when you receive your next statement you will see they have done something similar to your account?
I won against MBNA, Nat West , Barclays, Barclaycard and PPI payments from Barclaycard
Abbey National still to go.... what will I do with my spare time?
It sounds as if they are doing this to a lot of people!!

Now they have credited £176, do I send the letter saying i accept as part payment now or do I wait for a letter off them? Iv got another 7 days before lba is due

Rather than leave it open for confusion of the amounts and them thinking you have accepted this as Full and final settlement, you can accept their offer as part payment and continue to claim the full amount.
just had the letter off them for the gogw HA! the refusal letter is going off today ;-)

To keep you updated Im coming to the end of the lba deadline they have really cocked up onmy account, they have paid the gogw in which was £157 but other payments have been put in and they have then removed them - its very odd and hard to explain!
Anyway the fight continues
