    Default MadMurdoch v NatWest*won*

It's now the 15th day since I sent my preliminary letter for repayment of charges plus unauthorised contractual interesticon @ 29.69% (based on the fact the charges are unlawful and this reciprocal to the unauthorised % they happily charge me!)

No reply though, so I've got my lbaicon typed up (well cut and pasted from here!) and ready to mail off.

Question - I sent the preliminary letter to my branch so do I send the LBA there too or straight to Bishop's Gate, maybe even sending a copy to my branch? I was all prepared for a letter from Natwesticon, Bishop's Gate saying "no chance" but at least I'd know where to send the LBA back to.

Claim is for £1,998.05 which is made up of £1,332.05 charges and a hefty £665.20 interest.

Also - hi guys! I've got 2 HSBCicon claims going on as well. £5k is my total claim for the 3 accounts

As you are sending it to customer services there is no need to include your branch.

    Good luck

    WON WON WON!!!!

I wrote to bank last week on the web form asking why they hadn't replied to any of my letters whatsoever. Here is the text:-

I have recently written to both my branch and to the customer services department regarding bank charges.
The first letter was sent over a month ago, 10th April, and the second one on the 25th.

I frankly appalled and disgusted that I have not received even a courtesy reply, given the outcome of this is likely to involve court action.
Whether or not Natwesticon are expecting to contest my requests is immaterial. As my fiduciary, I expect a better service and immediate response, albeit only an acknowledgement, of every letter I send to the bank.

Given Judge David Mackie QC's comments recently regarding the banks wasting court time, I would have hoped that Natwest would at least consider resolving this case out of court in the interests of both parties.

I got a reply and they said they'd acknowledge it within 56 days. Lo and behold, on day 56 I get a letter offering the full charges amount of over £1,300 but no interesticon. Given I was asking for compound interest and recent Lloydsicon incidents and some crazy judges I though I'd better take it. 8% in court would only get me £100 extra so no point for that.

2 more HSBCicon ones going on though so I'm still skint!!
