Dear Sir Account XXXXXX
I am in receipt of your letter dated XXth April reference xxxxxxxx.
I respectfully decline your offer of settlement and request, once again, that you return to me all charges imposed on this account, interest and court fees of £XXX which together total £XXXX.XX as detailed on the enclosed schedule.
I will accept the sum offered in your above letter only as part settlement and on the clear understanding that I will pursue recovery of the remainder.
I will be willing to withdraw my claim upon receipt of unconditional full settlement of my claim.
I am not prepared to agree to any confidentiality clauses you try to impose, unless of course that you are willing to make an offer of due consideration in addition to the above amount, in order to be afforded this privilege by myself.
I hope that this clarifies my position
Any good?
I have just looked at the last letter i sent them dated 16/04/2007 addressed to Mr Stuart Higley.
It reads . I wrote to you on the 19th march asking you for a full comprehensive list as to how you came up with the amount of £3126.00 which is your offer to us, our claim before interest is £3574.00. plus interest of £963.36 bringing the total to £4537.36. We have had no response to our letter. I am writing this letter to inform you that should the response to this letter not be acceptable i intend to claim the full amount claimed together with the interest uo to the date of judgement and court fees in the in the proceedings through the court. I think that i have been very patient in this matter considering that my first letter is dated 19/02/2007.awaiting your reply within 7 days.
