Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Went through MCOL with my Barclaycard claim and Barclaycard filed a defence at the last minute (as they do!)
Got the date through from the court set at July 30th 2007. All seems fine so far but on the paperwork it says : "we request that the allocation questionaire be dispensed with in this case".
Had nothing now for over a month so is it just a case of waiting now??
Thanks in advance for any help! Worried i've made a mistake somewhere
Seen this on a few other threads that courts are now not bothering with aq's anymore because they know that the banks are dragging the process etc and probably have no intention of taking it to court.
If you want to make sure I'd give the court a quick call but it sounds like one of these cases.
Yup, as previous poster said this is becoming quite common as the courts are getting so mant claims they are now trying to fast track them/avoid the delaying tactics of the banks by not bothering with the aq.
