Thumbs down Welcome take unauthorised payments

Hi all, just thought I would tell you about my dealings with welcome.

I defaulted on my secured loan about a 1 1/2 years ago also defaulted on the mortgageicon for a reason "MONEY" and not a enough of it

mortgageicon Co. have repossessed and welcome have been informed

Like I said I haven't paid welcome for about 1 1/2 years I cancelled the DD at the bank and welcome would call once a month for a card payment.

Than all of a sudden welcome just took a card payment, no call, letter.
So I call my bank saying that a hadn't authorised the payment. I cancelled my electron card so they couldn't take any more payments.DONE

How wrong was I the next month again welcome took payment on a now cancelled electron card, so I called the bank again.
I was told that because I have a agreement with welcome they could do that, the amount is under welcome's floor limit so they don't need an authorisation code.

So I stop using that bank Ac. I pay no money in to it, thinking that this month if they put the card payment through it will just bounce no funds

Again how wrong can you be, called the bank again now OD because they have paid welcome because the amount is under welcome's floor limit so they don't need an authorisation code.

So this time the banks paid it, well aready reclaiming charges from them.

So please been warned that any Company you have an agreement with can help themselfs to your money putting in more hardship without your authorisation be it on your current card, old card or old old card !!!!

Any help on this would be great as I'm in hardship now when the house is sold it will cover the mortgage and secure loan so why rob my rent money?

I too had this same problem with welcome. I was soo! mad. Welcome think they have unrestricted access to YOUR money.

I had to telephone my bank and report my card lost so that I could get a new one with new details that they couldn't use. Under no circumstances give them any bank/card details. If you do intend to pay them I would recommend sending them postal orders only.

They are an extremely nasty bunch to deal with but don't let them bully you!

If you didn't authorise them to take the payment it's theft.

Write to them giving them 7 days to refund your account in FULL or else......
If they fail to do it haul their asses through court straight away without further notice.
