Took out a loan with Lloyds, heard about PPI, checked my paperwork and found that I had PPI with my load. Contacted the loans department who confirmed that this was the case, they said that they would check what the new payments would be if the PPI was taken off. This was done, but the lady stated that it would mean taking out a new loan for the balance. Due to being overdrawn with Lloyds, they stated that this could not go ahead due to my credit rating - i have never defaulted on this loan, and am currently ahead by a couple of months with payments - has anyone had the same problem? and if so, is there a way around it? advice appreciated!
My response to Lloyds response re having to take out a new loan..What a load of Ball Ocks.. That is utter nonsnese as they have in the past refunded PPI without having to change or take out a new agreement. They did in my case refund the PPI in full and I did not have to take out a new loan for the balance.

I have sent a letter to Lloyds about PPI and they have responded by writing to say that they will look into the matter, and that I should have a response in 2 weeks!

To be fair to Lloyds my complaint was dealt with quickly and to my full satisfaction, Unfortuanatelly after they were mentioned on Tonight program they got a bit Upset along with their solicitors, But I am dealing with them and in fact thay have gone all quiet since my last letter. I must chase them up as I have another couple of things I am about to throw at Lloyds.
