Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am taking ltsb to court over bank charges, they have decided to defend my claim.I have got a form from Birmingham county court with ltsb defence on it,there is a section which i need to fill in and the question is what are my reasons for making a counterclaim are? i am a bit stuck as to what to put in this section so any help would be grateful.cheers
Firstly you are making a claim, not a counterclaim.
The defendant(ltsb) may make a counterclaim.
Your reasons for making a claim are that you now believe the regime of fees charged by banks are unlawful at common law and contrary to the UTCCR 1999.
Look for the templates for the exact wording.
If you can tell us which form it is we may be able help alot more. It will have a number in the bottom left corner

Martin and hod are correct (as always), and this is standard stuff from the banks.
Hang in there, have a good read of HOD's links, and get prepared for the next stage.
Your nearly there now, don't worry about being nervous, its natural and we've all been there. Just get the knowledge you need (its all here) and you'll be fine.
