    Welcome Mizz

This thread should be in the A&L forum where you will et most help, I'll ask a mod to move it for you.

You do not add interesticon at this stage, the 8% statutory interest is to be added when you submit a court claim.

Have a read of the FAQ's in particular the step-by-step guide.

    Good luck!

    Hi

have copied and pasted prelim letter. In this section of the letter what figures are I to use if I am not adding the interest.

I calculate that you have taken £2107.00 plus £XXX which you have charged me in overdrafticon interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £XXXXX .
I enclose a schedule of the charges which I am claiming with this letter

This is the interest the bank charged you on the amount your charges took you over the overdrafticon limit, there is a spreadsheet to work it out but it usually comes to literally pence and isn't always worth the trouble of working it out.

If you want to check use this spreadsheet:

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...readsheet.html

it's the worksheet on the first tab marked 'charges and interest' which will give you this amount.

    N1 is very easy...

Yes you can pay at the court, or if you are exempt they have forms to sign.

    Here is the N1 form...

    http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/c...ms/n1_0102.pdf

    Here is the POCicon

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...-claim-n1.html

Copy these out 3 times when completed, if you have any problems filling them, just ask. Some one will be around who can help.

    Question Re: Mizzpy V A&l

Received letter from Wragge & Co saying they intend to defend all of this claim. What do I do now. I also received a letter from A & L with a cheque for £566.00 which includes the court fee of £120, my claim is for £2516.13. This is their Full and finalicon settlement.

    What should I do????
