Default Clan Jessica v Alliance and Leicester

Hi I am about to send of the SARicon to the vultures at the A&L who are on the brink of closing my account after I paid off a £1,000 overdraft almost exclusively caused by charges (and maternityicon leave pay but that's another matter).

I am just about to get £2k from the Halifaxicon, it has been relatively easy, although they went to the wire - the offer came in the day before I was due to file at court.

So I would be interested to know what the A&L are like, do they go the whole 40 days and string it all out, or are they a bit more flexible?

    Thanks

On day 39 the statements arrived - now I have a question. Can I count the £5-£25 items called 'overdrafticon payment' as well as the ones marked 'unauthorised overdraft payment'? That's something the Halifaxicon doesn't have.

    hiya

you can claim the £25 unauthorised overdrafticon charge, but if the £5 is a monthly "fee" for overdraft facility then you can't claim that one back

    you can claim

    unpaid cheque charge
    unpaid dd charge
    paid item charge
    unauthorised overdraft charge

    hope it helps
