OK, so i've finally plucked up the courage and sent off my lba letter to Lloyds today. Claim back only £800 in charges but hey it's still £800 that is not in my bank. Will keep you posted as to how they reply.

sorry it was the preliminary letter that I sent off yesterday, I get quite confused when it comes to all this stuff....How are the banks responding at the moment? anyone know

Slowly - although it does vary - with a small claim like that you may get lucky - but best to assume they will drag it out.

Definately do not hold your breath on this one!

Despite set timeframes they will try and take as long as they can possibly get away with but dont be intimidated-stick to your guns.
