    hi
My ac with them is closed so from previous readings it looks like they'll prob defend, and Im claiming £230.00 form them, but heres all the rest of the info.
I filled my mcol on the 14th march, recieved aknowledgement today from A&L, they've got another 28 days to file defence (so it says on mcol website) duh, and boo hoo!! I'll start getting everything ready to go to court then!! anyone got any encouraging words cos all 3 of my claims so far have been disputed and now waiting for court dates at my local courts and filling in court bundles.................. ..grr y wont they just pay up??!!!

Hi, helenm1984, we've always got encouraging words!

Hang in there; A&L make you take it to court but up till now have always paid out after entering a defence. They're just making everyone jump through hoops to get their money, presumably in the belief that some will fall by the wayside if they make it difficult enough.

    Hi Helenm1984.
Yes, you need to inform MCOL, so they stop any further action against A&L. Unfortunately, they don't allow you to do this over the phone, but there is a screen within your claim, which basically allows you to click, indicating the defendant has paid the o/s amount in full. Alternatively, if you ring HMCS, and inform them of the result, they will send you a form, which you need to sign and return, indicating that you have withdrawn your complaint against A&L.
