    Cool old egg customer needs help

    hi there can anyone help me i had a Eggicon loan and card when i was 18 i fell in default with them both they have been pass to loades of difrent debt recovery agentcies i was wondering can i still claim for my charges backeven thou it not with them any more cheers

    Yes you can, but the arguments you need to use will depend on whether the charges were applied in the past 6 yearsicon. Hope this helps.

    The practical obstacle regards claiming backwards beyond 6 yearsicon, is how would you obtain statements to back up computations of claim? Are cards and banks legally obliged to supply statements beyond 6 years back?

    They are obliged to supply all data they hold ... whether they actually do this may be another matter (can be like getting blood from a stone). It depends on the bank in question I think.
