Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I wrote to the Co-op on the 14th March asking for £195 worth of charges plus £6.26 of interest back.
After 2 letters back asking me to wait 7 days, I finally received a letter on saturday 14th April telling me that as a "gesture of goodwill" they had refunded charges and interest into my account!
I checked the money was there straight away, and by Saturday pm was in town shopping!!
It's not a huge amount of money but I only had the account a year, and decided to claim the money back as revenge for them deciding to close my account.
I had a lovely weekend, all courtesy of the Co-op, hurrah
