    Default Banks change of tactics?

I am aware of someone who has dealt with the Woolies only by telephone who has been sent an offer 95% of what they were claiming, no court procedure in fact I think no letters anyone else heard of this?

yes hi there, I have a friend who rang the Woolwich recently and was offered £1,000 within the next five days, no paperwork, no court costs etc. In all honesty I pressume they were more than happy to pay out as she had added up all hers charges and then included 8% on top of that, so the banks were obviously going to take the cheap option!
