I have just received notification from my bank that it has received my court order for repayment of charges incurred over a period of six years. Am very nervous about this. Does this mean we will need to pursue clain through courts and that bank could be difficult?

    Thanks for that.
We have been with our bank for over twenty years and have generally been pleased with service although like others we have incurred charges for being occasionally overdrawn etc, These charges over the past six years have totalled up to approx £600.00 including interesticon charged by bank.

This is a modest amount when I read of other claims made and it is as a principal that we are making claim. Did not really believe that we would have to push bank this far and am very apprehensive about it now we have started.

Hi,dont forget this is your money which the banks have. They have been overcharging for years and getting away with it,often putting people in impossible positions financially. Its about time they got their come-upance and its people like us who are doing it.Im also in the early stages of claiming back unfair charges and am also quite scared but at the end of the day,its our money, they have taken advantage of people like us for far too long and making billions of pounds in profit from us (unfairly),there is so many people in the same situation and so much help out there,in my opinion it would be wrong not to take advantage of it.When I need moral support I always leave a post and get it from the members who have been there.Theres some good people out there with some very good advice,so bite the bullet, get angry if you need to and think if someone had come into your home and stolen £600 would you want it back?I think it amounts to the same thing.Best of luck

Well done! That was unbelievably quick.Howd you manage that?Im still waiting for all my statements from Barclaysicon. They sent them out incomplete and after the 40 days.Id just sent a letter for non compliance the same day and received the statements which were incomplete.I sent another ammended one yesterday telling them what was missing and giving them the standard 7 days.Hope they turn up in time so I dont have to start court action just to get the info!Congratulations and I wouldnt worry about having to move your account,do you really want to give them your business anyway?

Yes but are any other banks any different really, usually if you claim a 2nd time oh dear they will give notive of intention to close account, if they do complain to the fosicon, you could be compensated for retaliation due to claiming of charges.
