I sent my SAR to Barclaycard on 26 February and have not yet received any statements - the 40 day deadline was up on 7 April.
I'm not sure what the next steps is - do I call them and ask why I haven't received my statements and tell them that they should have been sent to me by 7 April or do I write them another letter??
Stupid me! I sent it in the normal post! I think its because there aren't any Post Offices near where I work and it was just too easy to send it to the post room for them to send. The sensible thing is to send everything by recorded delivery, which I will be doing from now on!
I'm going to send a chaser letter to Barclaycard (using the 1 Churchill Place address) on Monday enclosing my original letter - do you think this is a good idea?? :?

I'm not sure as I've sent more than one SAR (for myself and my boyfriend), I'll check my bank statements and see if I can work it out. If it has been cashed I assume I can use that date as the starting point for the forty days?
