I want to complain to the IC about Barclaycard not responding to me asking for my statements even though they have banked my cheque. How exactly do I do this? Do I do it online through the freedom of information section and do I have to send them any letters I have sent Bcard?
Re: Help on complaining to Information Commissioner
I would write to Barclaycard again to compalin and to tell them that they are in breach of the Data Protection Act-also in the letter I would make referenece to the fact that you are sending copies of your correspondence to the Commissioner due to this breach.
Fingers crossed you will get your statements not long after they have received your complaint.
Re: Help on complaining to Information Commissioner
Well after the 40 days I sent them the non compliance letter and they just sent me a compliments slip asking for my account number which I told them in the initial letter I didnt know but sent told them my date of birth and previous addresses. I will send them a letter reminding them this.
