Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have recieved a parking fine today for being parked in a disabled car park bay on private land. The parking fine is demanding that I pay £60.00 within 10 days. If I dont pay the full amount within 10 days they will charge me interest at £3.00 per day.
The private land in question is a leisure complex with cinemas, restaurants and bowling alleys etc. I received the parking fine whilst I was at one of the restaurants within this private leisure complex. The only reason why I parked in a disabled parking bay was because all the other parking bays were full.
To the best of my knowledge there does not appear to be any signs within the complex to say that you will be fined if you are wrongly parked in a disabled parking bay.
Could anybody please let me know if the parking fine I received is legal and if I have to pay it.
