Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Ok guys & gals need some help. I have done a prelim letter to MInt, got my figures wrong (luckly counted to many charges not to few). They have come back & offered the difference between £20 & £12 & the interest to be credit to our account (now defaulted & closed). Obviously I want to reject as I want the full £20, also I want in cheque not credited to the account, does anyone have any ideas for the letter?
Send them a rejection letter - can be found in the template area. But do put on there that you have miscalculated and give them a revised copy of your charges spreadsheet. Tell them how long they've got left before you send your lba and everything should be fine.
