Default mint - charges info recieved but not in a statement form

    HI

Got my list of charges back form mint, but they were in the form of a spreadsheet and just had months, as opposed to specific dates.

Is this Breakdownicon enough to start the process of letters or do I have to go back and ask them for the exact dates of the charges?

    Thanks

You will need the exact dates to accurately calculate the interesticon.

so template one on this page http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...n-act-non.html is the way to go?

They also provided me with a nice explanation of how manual intervention worked, but didnt actually give me any cases of manual intervention about my account (if any)

Yes obviously send whichever one is relevant to your scenario so far. Worth noting that what you are doing in a Subject access requesticon is for a full disclosure of all information that the bank holds on you. Because the banks know why you are doing this, they are simply sending out a list of charges to you because they think that that is all you should require to make your claim.

What seems to be the case more and more is that what they actually supply is incorrect or is incomplete. A list of charges is not acceptable - you want ALL the information they hold on you and that means a list of all the transactions on your account not just charges. The easiest way they can supply that is in statement form. It is also the best way to ensure they don't miss any charges off. A friend of mine had a list of charges he pulled from internet banking and the list he was sent by Lloydsicon was £1,000 short! Bear this in mind!

It is worth stressing this in your response IMO.

Well yesterday my statements finally arrived, along with 1 sheet of manual interventions - though it appears to log when I logged into the online site for mint - it only goes back around 9 months so part of me thinks this is incomplete! - would I need this manual intervention data if (or when) I need to take the charges claim to the court level?

Logs of when you went online? Wouldn't be of much use to you in court!

As long as you have all your statements - not just 6 yearsicon back, but all your statements, then carry on.

Finally managed to sit down and fire up excell. The total in charges is a nice round £500.

I decided to go down the contractual route but will settle for full charges if they offer them before any mcol/court action stages.

Using different spreadsheets has produced slightly different results:
using the " 15 Throughout claim with contractual interesticon" from Vampipress's Chamger gives me a interest on penalties of £107.39, bank interest on penalties of £46.58 and interest on interest on bank penalties of £7.30

Using the "England - Advanced - Excel" from http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...eadsheets.html gives me no specific breakdowns just a total of £145.63

Is there a "better" spreadsheet to use?? at the moment I think I am going with the CAGicon one as even though its lower CAGicon has been the claiming back bank charges brand to trust!

i'll keep you posted when I fire off the letters and what repsonse I get - seams mint claims are lacking recently
