Alliance and Leicester 2nd letter, waiting for statements
Hi,iam still waiting for my statements from the alliance and leicester its been 35 days so iwm going to send a second letter, does anyone know if there is a template that i can copy as im not to sure what to write,do i threaten them with legal action? Thanks.
HI,me again ive just been on the phone to Alliance and Leicester, asked them why my statements hadnt been sent yet as its been 32 days, was told by some stroppy advisor that it was 40 days from when the £10 fee cheque was cashed,is this right?
Should be supplied within 40 days from when they received the request (or identification if that was asked for separately). Tell them to go and read sections 7(8 )and 7(10) of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Re: Alliance and Leicester 2nd letter, waiting for statements
If they don't comply by the time they've had 40 days here are some templates, but do remember they have got 40 days and are entitled to wait until the end of that time.
Hi,my 40 days will be up this week,i spoke to someone on the phone from A&L and they were not very helpful at all! So do i send the second template letter now?and tell them i will take them to court if they fail to reply in 7 days? Its all very confusing. Can someone help,Thanks.
NO.. wait the 40 days first... have you recieved your bank statements from the A&L ?? once your 40 days are up then send the send letter. using the template from on here. then you will have to wait another 14 days. their is step by step instructions in the menu use that also i found it helpful... good luck
When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to of happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI insurance has been sorted now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.
Should you be offered help that requires payment please report it to site team.
