Has anyone any advice on how to successfully cancel PPI and get our money back with firstplus. We had a loan of 50k off them 12 months ago and we now want to clear this. Aswell as paying 6k back already we are being charged 9k for 12 months ppi.
You should just be able to cancel at any time as it is only insurance, but you'll need to read the small print in the contract.
If however they informed you that you could only have the loan if you took out PPI, this would be a whole new ball game. This would amount to miss-selling and therefore firstplus could be in serious trouble.
