    Letter Wording

Had a drink with a Royal Bank CSA tonight.

(I'm claiming against the Halifaxicon but I thought I'd sound her out for the benefit of the group!!).

I mentioned the people claiming refunds and she told me...

"They have to word their letter correctly or they (the bank) wont consider the claim"

So make sure you copy the templates from the BAG exactly as it is written, that seems to be the way to go.....

So it's obvious that the Banks will try to get off on the Technical issues - because they wont win on the law!

    Good Luck

Thanks for the input - however I think it's for the court to decide, not the banks.

Maybe they will become more likely to pay out earlier if they can see that the claimant has been following advice similar to that we provide, but there would have to be some major flaw in the letters people write in order for them to find a way out.
