Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I sent a prelim letter to Barclaycard on 23 March claiming a refund of £492. On 28 March, I checked my account to find that a credit of £216 had been made which was listed as a 'late payment refund'. I have not received any correspondence from Barclaycard regarding this credit or the outstanding £276 (which I will still claim for). Has anyone else experienced this? I am due to send out my letter before action this saturday, obviously it will now be minus the £216.
Accept the payment on a partial basis, there is a letter in the template library and most impotantantly keep to your timetable. You can now send the lba letter with a revised spreadsheet showing the refund you have received.
