    Default already closed account - is it too late to claim?

    Hi,

    RBSicon OWE me a heap of money from a couple of years ago and I want to try to get it back but i closed the account last september. Does the account have to still be open to make a claim?

    No it dosent, you can claim back these charges but will need to provide them with proof who you are, if you dont have account number they can trace it, good luck.

    Thanks for your help. had done some reading but obviously not enough. Have all my bank statements for last 5 years (yes, very sad i know!) so I guess on with the reading and then to war... thanks again.
