Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have just started looking at statements for an old mortgage account that I had and was completed in February 2005. I looked at the forum and noticed that I can claim for 'Returned DD fees' and also 'arrears fees'. I also note that it isn't wise to claim for the Redemption admin Charge of £295.00 at this moment in time as I understand that this is also called an ERC......would this be right?
The other thing I noticed on the statements is that they have charged a 'Second Quest Fee' of £70.50 in 2002 and I can't seem to think what this would be for. Has anyone else came across this before? I also wondered what a Sundry Fee of £25.00 would be for? Should I clarify these 'fees' with the Alliance and Leicester before I send my lba?
Any help would be much appreciated...
