Hi serable, Thanks, Im sure if youve claimed for basic charges you will get an offer of full refund, phone them, e-mail them just before the 8 week deadline is up, should be Mon/Tues comming.

Maybe a little call to the CRU unit or an email would be worthwhile if your worried but I am sure your letter would get to the correct place in Edinburgh. I sent all mine through my local branch.
My initial letter (prelim) was received by RBS on the 14th March. So, I am only a couple of days ahead of you. Don't worry about not getting a reply to any letter - I didnt either. Although they did say they sent an acknowledgement on 6th April ( ) Sandy Watt assured me in an email yesterday that I would receive an offer before the 56 day FSA deadline which is the 9th May. According to a CRU worker over the phone RBS usually send an offer in the 7th week so I would expect like dangler8 said you should receive a letter next week hopefully.

thanks for your post. I have now emailed them (Sandy Watt) and have to accept the email as acknowledgement, so they said that under FSA regulations they have 8 weeks to investigate!! That means up until 12th June, so it's a waiting game. Hope you get your sorted out soon. Good Luck

Unfortunately the 8 week deadline started from the 17th April as Sandy stated in her email that this was the acknowledgement and therefore it's 8 weeks from that date, even though she said a letter had been posted on 6th April. Never mind, 8 weeks is until 12th June, so not long really!!

Serable, thats crap the 8 weeks is from the date they signed for prelim
16/03/07. You are entitled to take your complaint to the FSO if you dont want to hang on waiting.
