Have sorted Halifax out and now turning my attention to A & L. Can I get them to remove a default from 5 years ago? Undoubtly some of it would have been down to bank charges?
Two things you can try. If the amount you defaulted on was equal to or less than the amount of illegal bank charges applied to you account then you could argue the case that these charges caused you to default.
